Ok for everyone that cares, or was wondering, I got my ULT and tried it out this weekend in a regular Minimag valve with LVL X. I had practically no trouble with short stroking... if u dont pull the trigger all the way sometimes it will chuff and the ball will plop out the barrel, but its definately not a problem. No chops, no breaks, nothing. I was shooting about 2 balls per second faster and my friends said it sounded like I was shooting the kid who earlier was shooting his Impulse...so ROF is definately up...
I didnt notice any shootdown either i was firing off a string of shots and no problems, basically this thing is awesome and is definately worth it. The trigger is extremely light, feels 5 times lighter even though I know its only 3 times lighter, but it is very different than what your probably used to so it will take time to get used to it. When you DO get used to it, you'll be firing a lot faster and a lot more accurately with your left hand.
Setup: LVL X: 3 shims, normal carrier size (meaning just set it up how it works in your gun now)
ULT: 5 ULT shims, 2 LVL X
Also: the pull is shorter
