when i shoot my emag, air comes out of the back hole where i adjust the FPS. it makes a small "SSSSS" sound. It sounds like it leaks when the valve is recharging, then it stops. when i turn up the FPS, it leaks constantly and leaks out the top hole on the valve. Why is it doing this???

How many FPS are you shooting? It could be your valve venting off the extra air to keep your velocity under 300fps.I Like To Eat Crayons, I Really Like The Red Ones, I Wonder If They Make Red Crayon Pie

Take the adjuster out and clean the back of the valve and related o-rings. You might want to check the reg seat o-ring as well.
EDIT: could also be the regulator valve pin o-ring.Last edited by athomas; 10-17-2003, 07:50 AM.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

Could be your piston reg. Do you run an LX with your RT valve? It's been discussed how the stock piston reg wasn't designed to meet the demands of the higher operating pressures of the LX kit.
If you do have LX, are you using the longest spring? If so, try using the 1 carrier, no shims, and the shortest spring. This will allow you to lower the velocity setting so the pressure inside the valve isn't so high. Also, you should gain better effeciency with your air consumption."I just came for your mayonaise." ~ TooDamnSweet
