Steel Ring inside the x-mag body

Isn't that the one that keeps the bolt from shooting out of the barrel? I'm pretty sure they weld those in.

you can't weld aluminum to steel

I believe they are press fitted into place.

it screws in and is loctited. Mine came loose, AGD fixed it.

I believe on the xmag there is a set screw and they use red loctite. On my sfl there was no set screw... I made a jackbolt and boiled it in hot water, and got it out very easily without complication.

Be very careful with this, if you break it... you have to send it in to get replaced, it does not have a part number.

that one you can just see that the bolt goes through and you turn it out the back.. just need a 6inch stud with an inch of thread at least and a couple locking washers.
