Yes worth it.
I have a Boo-yaah electronic frame which is the same frame, it was just that mako manufactured the frame and Boo-yaah put their name on it. The only problem that I had on it has the on/off pin supplied was too short and this made the bolt not completely lock on the bolt which eventually wore the bolt to the point it didn't work, but I sent the frame along with my gun to mako, can find address at http://www.paintballchannel.com/article.php?sid=80
All you have to do is send the gun with your frame on it and they'll work it perfectly. -
pyro i have seen you knock the stock valve in every electro grip post. Have u ever used an electro grip on a mag? Have you every got that mag to 13 bps? I have and with co2 have no shootdown at all. If you do have noticible shootdown you have a problem with your valve and should have it looked at by agd. It could also be your nitro/co2 tank causing shootdown not the valve.-Minimag Body HR

hey
Are you sure, because they cost SOO much more. I've seen Boo-yaahs for about $170 and those expensive Hyperframes for $300.

i think you can get them cheaper than 300 new but i got mine used in the classifides. They go for i think like $150-200 used. If you can get a reasonably priced used one it is worth it.-Minimag Body HR

If you don't have shootdown at 13bps your mag should be looked at by AGD. They need to find why yours shoots faster than everyone elses and impliment it on all valves
.
The stock valve begins shootdown at 6bps. At 10bps the shootdown becomes noticable. These are proven facts.

proven facts dont mean anything if i dont get shootdown then i dont get shootdown(there goes your proven fact theory, whatever you or anyone says i still wont get shootdown).
edit: have you personally seen the valve get shootdown at 10? have you personally seen a mag shoot faster than 10?-Minimag Body HR

Well,
I have no real experience with the Hyperframe (but a fellow AO member has sold me his, and will be sending it out tommorow - YEAH BABY YEAH !), but I have seen the HALO videos, and they prove that the stock AGD valve can handle 16 bps.
Paintball Talk is the main forum for Automags.org. Here is where we talk about the sport of paintball in general and make announcements relating to the forum and website.
this is a url introducing the halo videos using a stock mag valve. Further down in the thread, AGD is boasting about his stock valve design being able to do that.
This is just to show why I firmly believe and trust my future with the Hyperframe.Comment

wow that's fast. when i had my elcd goin, i had it set on 11bps and i didn't notice shootdown. of course my frame wasn't stock and it wasn't the retro. i know, don't curse me, but the gun rocked the way it was set up so i had to do it. i used to put it on full auto at 13bps and i saw shootdown, but on semi, i could crank it to 11bps and never saw it. but that's just me. i shot this other kids mag that he was running stock, he was getting noticable shootdown after any 3rd shot he had. obviously something was wrong with it, i still say cause he was running co2, but he kept saying no. whatever, anyways, just my 2 cents.http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...light=feedback
My girlfriend said that if i bought another paintball gun, she'd leave me........ I sure am going to miss her.Comment

Hyperframe shoots at 16 bps?
1.My stock valve will shoot fairly reliably at 10 bps without shoot down, and on CO2!Originally posted by HyperSnyper

2.The HyperFrame will not shoot faster than 13 pbs, so how can this video prove anything? Do they have a new model or have they fooled with it's chip?
3. My gun will shoot at 12 bps but I usally break the last shot in a string.
4. All that being said, I keep mine at 8 bps and shoot rainbows of paint without breaking any in the gun.

Pyro kinda painting your self into a corner there.
Who proved these facts?More ice to cross
More beer to drink
More swords to bluntComment

here's a good question for everyone. does anyone ever shoot this fast for any other purpose than to show off? the answer is...........NO. there is absolutely no reason to shoot even 10 balls in one second during a game of play. if there is anyone shooting that fast regularly, they have a lot of time, paint, and money to burn. if you need to shoot that much to hit someone, than you shouldn't be playing paintball cause you suck. personally, i don't think i've ever shot more than 5 balls in one string of shots. i don't need to pop up for a second and shoot 13 balls. for the people that do, i pity them. but, to each his own..........i guess.http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...light=feedback
