revy shells problem

ok i bought a right side shell for my revy and when i put them together they dont fit perfect there a gap between the two shells on the inside and i have to tightin the screws pretty tight to get it just that close...

my revy left side is just a revolution and the new side is the vl revolution side with x-broad on it i have x-broad in the revy it that info help

i just wanna know if this is normal or me tightin it down hard is puttin stress on the broad or anything no wires are cought either

I think there was somthing about the newer shells not working right with the old ones?
