    Classic Help...

The marker was shooting just fine yesterday. I'm not quite sure what the problem could be at this point, I've checked and rechecked everything I can think of.

Here's the problem. The marker gasses up fine, and everything feels good (i.e. trigger) but there's no action. The bolt stays put (no it's not bolt stick) no leaks of any kind. I can pull the trigger, and it acts like it should but the marker will not fire. Any ideas?

Have you tried turning the velocity up? You didn't mention whether it has LX or not but sometimes that all it takes. How's your air? Running a little low or a full tank?

the problem I bet is your Rod

The "Rod" that is connected to the sear...that relases your bolt...

you need to unscrew it some more...its a trial and error kind of thing....if you pull it out to much you can cause short stroke problems..and if its in to deep It will not release the bolt at all..or it will not release every time you pull the trigger....you should pull it out to where there are about 4 threds exposed that should be about right.....but you should try and fine tune it.....and if your Rod turns realy easly....then wrap some teflon tape to it to keep it from moveing......i had to fix my rod 3 times in one day...because it kept on screwing it self in more.....teflon tape...or even a small sheet of kleanex is a quick fix......the tough part is just geting the size right....after that its just a matter of tape...and you should never encounter that problem again.

Trial and Error Tips.....start the rod at the shortest position...(no threds can be seen) then unscrew it till you see about 4-5 threds...put your gun back together and fire as fast as you can on the trigger.....if you dont encounter any short stroke problems your at the length you need to be...take it apart..apply tape and put it back to original position....If you do enouter problems....Repete...untill you find the correct length.

I would recomend against trying to adjust your trigger rod. They are at a certain length for a reason. When you said " was shooting fine yesterday", and now it's not then you need to find what has changed between now and then. Unless you changed the length of the trigger rod between those times it's not the trigger rod that is the problem.

If you can turn the trigger rod by hand, there is a good chance that is your problem. If you cannot look elsewear. It should be loctited in place, and almost impossible to turn without heating first.

That means that the loctite on your rod somhow came loose. You should set it to 1.985 and reloctite it at that measurment.
