    I think my X has a short...

    If I leave my battery on my x-mag for more then about 2 days the battery dies. On a volt meter I read it at about 6.4 volts. I made sure that the switch was in the off position and I put a small piece on electrical tape on it just to make sure... Any one have any other possible causes for this besides a short somewhere?

    Does the battery die when not left on the gun? If the discharge only occurs when the battery is on the gun, then the problem is definately a shorted wire somewhere between the battery terminals and the switch.
    Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
