    Broke Feed Tube

    Hey
This last weekend we were playing some paintball and I let my 13 yr ol son play with my mag
The frist game right after the ref started the game, my son tripped and fell with my mag
Well,, sadly to say My Eggy2 snapped my feed tube right off the body of my baby,
I tried calling AGD yesterday and stayed on hold for 30 minutes, had to leave and stuff
What I am wondering is how much would this thing cost to get fixed?
Has a Retro Vavle with out any punches

    Any idea????

Looks like a good excuse to get a ULE body :)

Call AGD, they may or may not fix/replace it for you. I don't know what there policy is, but I know there warrenty has changed since I last checked. As already stated if you know what your doing you could retach it, or but a new body.

I had a feed tube snap off on my classic p/f left and I just TIG welded it back on. I don't think solder would hold up in this type of application brazing it on might but its just as easy to get it welded back on.

Wow, evidently this is more frequent than I imagined.

Anyways, silver solder MIGHT be enough. If you look on Doc's page:

Somewhere in the middle, he mentions silver solder, although this is for a vertical feed. What might be cool is to send it in somewhere and get some sort of angel feed neck threading put on there in its place, center feed style.

I would call AGD though and ask about it.

But hey, if you do shoot for the ULE, what are you gonna do with the old body (and mag-to-cocker adapter?)
