I have played paintball on and off for roughly 4 to 5 years but as much as i enjoyed it i never had purchased my own marker. Two years ago i bought a classic automag and was using just the basics as starters. I have never gotten to upgrading simply cuz I stopped playing regularly soon after purchasing it. But it has had problems since i got it. It is constantly freezing up the action or just holding it back everytime i pull the trigger which then releases alot of gas out the barrel bfore it finally goes back into positon. The field i play at checked it out and thought it was fixed then it started up again, said i needed an anti-syphon filter and somethin else. finally i said screw it and am asking you all for help, what upgrades do i need to purchase to take care of any possible problems or any normal problems with the classic mag. I am trying to stay low on cost for now as i am in college and funds are low, so keep this in mind. my email is empnagf@hotmail, send ur replays or post them here, I NEED HELP!!!

If you can afford it and have air fills available, I'd get a high pressure air tank. A small 48ci tank can be had quite cheaply and will keep your gun from experiencing any freezing.
If you don't have access to HPA then get an antisiphon and/or expansion chamber.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts. -
Basically the co2 is freezing your seals preventing them from sealing. Getting an HPA tank will fix this i would recommend atleast 68/3000, they are pretty cheap, if you have the money and can get it filled i would go 68/4500.
Or else you coudl get an anti-syphone, expansion chamber, reg, (remote or run a vertical tank, but do not do either of these and an anti-syphon)

HPA depends on how much money you want to spend, and if you are eventually going to a retro or x-valve. If your not going to one of those two, go with a preset tank, if you are go to an ajustable tank. Ive been out of this for a while so I don't that much about tanks. I use a preset crossfire which works fine for me, I also know what flatlines are a very good tank.

A palmer stablazier is a good reg.
I don't know about x-chambers.
You don't need to change anything because your going to HPA, you can however get a level 10 if you want, that will prevent most if not all chops.
