Twist lock barrel and Halo B

Will my Halo B work on my old mag, it only has the twist lock barrel and a wire detent.

Has anyone got this to work or am I gonna be double feeding cos of the halos pressure on the ball stack??

    It should work just fine.

However, I would look into the plastic detents. They're better at what they do, won't slice paint and will never wear out.

If your mag has a powerfeed be sure you have the new PF parabolic plug, the halo is so fast and has enough pressure on the paintballs that it will push them past the barrell breach, causing dry fire and loading issues. A good investment of $2............

I used my Halo on my backup mag last weekend. Some of the paint was so brittle in the cold that it was breaking in our pots and hoppers. I couldnt get a ball through my Angel IR3.

I fired up me old mag with my new halo and it worked a treat. There was the odd triple feed but no broken balls

so with this, it shouldn't have a problem in keeping up with a retro valve?

just buy a rebuild kit, some nubbins should be included. plus you get a rebuild kit...

The general "Mag O-Ring Replacement Kit" has nubbins also for all your nubbin needs.

                        Relevant story:

Using my HALO on my emag this weekend, I had a stock emag barrel with wire detents. First shot I took, the wire nubbins sliced into the ball and annihilated it. I pulled the barrel, put in the plastic nubbins and had no problems for the rest of the day.
