    3.0 Emag software/shot buffering

I was at the World Cup the past few days and checked out a player's Emag with the 3.0 memory. He said the only difference with the 3.0 and the previous versions was shot buffering. From what I noticed, you could adjust the shot buffering from 4 to something like 99. What's shot buffering doing for the Emag/Xmag? What's the prime setting for buffering? Is it worth upgrading to the 3.0 memory?

    Thanks guys!

    What's it doing?

Shot buffering. (Remembers a trigger pull while the first firing cycle is underway.

    Prime setting?

Your call. Nobody really knows cuz it's different per marker & user.

    Worth it?

    Sure.

I upgraded to 3.0 at World Cup. I think that the upgrade is worth while. I hated the old timmer on the gun. I could make my e-mag trigger bounce once in a blue moon. It just was not worth the change to be penalized for the bounce.

With the new software, I found out that at the from 4-40, I could have my e-mag trigger bounce pretty easy. I put the setting to 60 and can not make the gun trigger bounce. That is with 4 tanks of air throught the e-mag. I talked to the techs at World Cup. Settings from 4-20 will give some tigger bounce on most guns, but it will vary greatly from gun to gun. You just have to play with the settings to find out what setting is right for you and your gun.

Definitally get the upgrade. I love it so far.

I managed to get 3.2 this weekend and got a chance to use it today. I set my buffering to 20 initially and found that it just didn't "feel" right. I toyed with it throughout the day and now it is set at 50 and works great for me. My brother has his set into the 60's I think but he is a lot faster on the trigger than I am. I can't "walk" a trigger to save my life.
