How do you tell what the output pressure is...

Ok, I have a wierd problem and maybe you folks can help me out. I have an emag and a retro 68 that I use the same 88/4500 crossfire tank on. Well I don't have reactive response from the valve so I don't have any runaway using that tank. But when I hook up my brothers 68/4500 Pure Energy tank, the guns have a lot of runaway. When I use my tank on my brother's retro 68, no runaway. He slaps his tank on his gun and there's runaway. My only conclusion is that the Crossfire tank has a lower output pressure than the PE tank.

How should I go about verifying this? I was thinking of putting a guage on my ASA and seeing what the output shows up with each tank screwed in. With it setup that way, would it show the output pressure of the tanks?

    TIA

Yeah, some ASA's have a hole on each side and if you had a guage on one side and line ran to the mag on the other it would tell you the output pressure of the tank. Man, after rereading that what an essay type answer, but I hate just sayin' Yes!:)

Just like you said, grab an old ASA, put a gauge on it, and screw the tank in, it will tell you the output pressure.
