AA Raptor Rex, weird problems

I've had a Raptor Rex sitting around for about 6 months. I aired it up the other day and it started leaking out the overpressure hole and out of the top of the reg nut just like a mag does when you turn it up too high.

I quickly hooked up my mag and fired a few shots and the leaking stopped. If I adjust the reg on the tank it starts leaking again until I hook it up and fire the marker.

Any idea on what causes this and how to fix it?

yeah I already did, but I knew that they were out of office for the weekend and figured I might get some more help here faster.

Dunno what's wrong with it tho. Aired it up past 2k today and the leaking stopped. It leaked around 2k, but when we got to 2500 it stopped.

I think the reg just needs to be rebuilt/serviced.
