    Double firing

I just started having this problem today. I'll shoot once then let it recock and my Classic will shoot 2 balls at once then the next one is usually a broken ball. Now I do have a LX and its been tuned in and before this double firing issue the only probs I would ahve is an occasional broken ball. Any help would be appreciated.

Check your barrel nubbins. They might need replacing.

Would the nubbins cause breaks? I seem to have 1-2 breaks in the barrel per case of paint and thats prolly due to field paint and cold weather, but I keep having breaks as the ball exits the barrel or would this be due to the cold weather? I will replace the nubbinswith the new ones i have, so thanks for the info on that.

Nubbins will cause the double feeding.

The double feeding is what gives you the broken ball. One slams into the other and they come out looking like spray.

And yes. Cold weather will also affect how paint fires.

Run your finger over the indide of your barrel at the end, make sure none of your porting is burred in a way that it could catch a ball ripping it open.
