    lvl 10 started leaking.

Ok I have had my lvl month for about a month or so now. I have put about 5000+ shots thru it. Now the past few times I have used it, it starts leaking down the barrel. But the weird thing is it does not do it all the time. Sometimes when I gas it up it leaks sometimes it's fine. After I shot it starts then it stop on the next shot. And then there is the nonstop leak. I tried going down to the next carrier, but the bolt does not move with it.

    lvl 10 setup:
    Short spring
    1.5 carrier
    two shimes

Get rid of the shims, then change the carrier down one half size from the one that leaks, and oil it good and shoot it. If that doesn't do it try changing the carrier o-ring.
Sadly the mag is gone, moved on to an LCD Trix

I'll try removing the shimes, but the next carrier down does not work. It's to tight and the bolt does not move.

Yeah, I'd try it without any shims to see if that was causing a problem. Then go from there.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

yeah I tried it without the shimes. The leak is not as bad now, but it's still there. I'm going to be taking it to one of the techs at work tomorrow. Hopefully they can fix it.

How old is the sear in the gun? Maybe the sear is worn a bit allowing the bolt to sit farther forward.

umm like three or four years old.
If it still is leaking when I get it back I'll change the sear and see what happens.

I found that when you put a lot of rounds through it it will sometimes chew up the carrier o-ring.Try replacing the o-ring and really over lube it.After a few dry fires it should be good.
