    Help with Level X install

Well, I just finally got a level X for my mag today, for playing in the morning, and I cannot get it working. I followed all the instructions on the CD, and when I finally got to the end to try out the springs the gun would not fire. I would pull the trigger and either nothing would happen or I would get a big leak, if I turn up the velocity more it leaks out the back. This happened with silver and red springs. After going down to the smallest spring provided (gold), it will shoot, but it shoots 10-20 shots full auto when I pull the trigger.

My setup is classic mag, classic valve, zgrip, 3k flatline tank. Input is 800-900. 3 shims, 2.0 carrier.

I'm tryin to get the gun going tonight for a game tommorrow. Thanks,

Ran out of air troubleshooting tonight. I was getting frustrated with my testing here at the end until I realized this. We'll see if I can get it going at the field tomorrow, starting over from the beginning.

Also, I just noticed if I put the bolt on with no bumper, it goes almost all the way to the powertube housing. So the bumper is holding the bolt out. Is this normal? With the Lv7, it had the exact same amount of space there to allow for my blue bumper.

you need to have a bumper in there or your going to have probs in the future.

if you cannot get the lvlX to shoot reliably with any spring without leaking out the back then you need a new
reg piston. new ones are made for the higher pressure needed in lvlx.
you can find them at www.airgun.com in the
      store.
here is link to what you need

no luck at the field adjusting it today, so i'm ordering the new reg piston to see if that helps. Can anyone explain the runaway full auto I am experiencing? Is this due to too low a velocity, or to input pressure being too low?

        thanks for the help.
