AGD 2.1 Software @ 24bps???

Hey guys, I was just reading the X-Mag product test/review in the October 2003 issue of APG, and the model that they had came with the 2.1 software, and they were boasting about how it is selectable to 24bps. Is this right? I thought the 3.x software was 20bps max ROF, why would they decrease the max ROF in a newer version?

The reason I am wondering is beause I sent my E-Mag into AGD 3 days ago for a software upgrade to 3.2, and Im thinking i'd rather have 2.1 if its faster.

Anyone have some more in depth information about this? Please let me know some stats on the 3.2 software and how it compares with the 2.1.

Unless you can pull 24, don't sweat it.

3.2 will make the gun shoot faster. And in all reality, the gun tops out around 22 w/ the level 10 anyway. They can set the BPS cap at whatever they want really.

I'm all for the 3.2 if its optimized to actually have the capacity to shoot faster than the 2.1. Sounds like the 3.2 should be pretty nice!

Keep watchin for a thread posting the progress of putting an eye on my magwhen I get it back from AGD!
