    emag /lx questions

I have an emag set up with an x-valve all of which I bought used. It shoots well, but I just have a couple of questions:

1st: The x-valve on/off has the black quad o-ring in the bottom, but no seccond o-ring. Every once in a while when in mechanical mode when I depress and hold the trigger there is a slight leak, which goes away in a seccond. There is no leak regularly when I'm playing (that i can detect). Should there be another o-ring in the on/off (the white pin o-ring)

2nd: How long should my on/off pin be for one and two orings in the emag? (placing an order to AGD soon and want a back-up or proper on/off pin)

3rd:I have my LX tuned to 1.5 carrier with 2 shims and there are no leaks. I also have a cut mid spring (less 1/3 of a turn) and it shoots good at around 280 fps. However, it seems to me that the bolt is still moving with a bit of force and I did chop 2 balls last time I played (it was cold) I have another un-mod'd mid sping and when I put it in the bolt is real gentle on my finger. However, when dry firing it it will shoot fine once and then only move 1/2 was into the breach and chuff as if my finder was in the way. Is there any way to fix this? (I dont really want to turn up the velocity too much more)

    Thanks in advance

#1- There should be the black quad oring surrounded by another white oring.

#2- you want a .712 pin for the Xvalve in an Emag

#3- if it was cold, you might have blown the paint up in the barrel and not chopped. When it's normal weather out, do you chop? If not, then it was probably a barrel break, nothing the LX can do about that. As for the long spring, there's nothing you can do about it. Yes, it'll be softer on paint, but you'll have to crank the velocity to make it work. Just the way it is...

will the o-rings be sitting in the valve when the on/off is removed or be on the assembly? I may be missing the o-rings... maybe thats why I get the small leak.

So If I was ordering a backup on/off pin I should get the .712 pin?

(I dont want to place extra orders where I live in canada)

      Thanks again

oh yeah - the surrounding o-ring is that the regulator valve pin o-ring listed in the AGD on-line store?

#1 The orings will stay in the hole in the valve more often than not.

          #2- Yes. (didn't we read? )

          Yes.
