    Wringing out a 98 custom on CO2-lp

I have a 98 custom. I am interested modding it so that it runs on a fixed, low pressure for better consitency with the CO2. (HPA not an option). If my thinking is correct, the lower the pressure, the more I will be able to shoot before the tank pressure drops below my regulated pressure and my velocity drops off. I'm intersted in what mods I can do myself because I cannot do the GTA LPK as my m98c is top cocking.

I have a female stabilizer now, and run anti siphon 20oz tanks. I imagine I need to mod the valve and hammer, lighter spring etc.

If there is a good tippmann forum with smart people I'd like to know about it.

    thanks.

Try the Tippmann home page. I know they have a forum there or close by.

    As for LP vs. HP...

Just remember, not all LP guns are efficient. You are using a lower pressure burst of air, so you need to shoot more OF it to get the ball to the same speed.
