    upgrading automag

    hi guys, just to let you know im not new to paintball (been playing for a year with my tippmann) and ive been researching about the automag and i think its one really hot gun, i have a limited budget(about $500 at the end of year from relatives and seling my old gun, and some more from saved up money for gun, nitro and upgrades) so i cant just go out and buy an emag right away and my parents think $1000 is too much for just the gun anyway. So i was thinking i should get the automag classic http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/010-1002.html, a barrel, nitro, and slowly upgrade after that
    so getting to the upgrades i am thinking first get level 10 or that x valve, then the intelliframe(already have electronic hopper)maybe warp feed, then maybe the electronic grip in the front like on the emag and xmag
    so what do you think?

      Well, why not start with the RTpro. Then you already have the Lvl10, X-Valve, and intelliframe.

      Can't go from a regular mag to an E-Mag.

          my firld doesnt allow guns with an rt and then i wouldnt have enough money for a nitro tank

                  Been there, did that. After one year -



                  My advice is, buy used gear to get started. Might suffer a bit cosmetically, but Mags just don't wear out. Then upgrade from there.

                  You can find a used RT Pro for $300-350, which is a vast improvement over a new classic for just a bit more. That Emag in the picture - marker & flatline - cost us a total of $500 used.

                  If you do buy new, at least get the powerfeed. You will never be able to sell a classic body when you do upgrade.

                          Go with the RT deal and save your money up for a good adjustable hp tank so you can tune the trigger.
                          You may be confused about what they mean when they say no rt's allowed. They probably mean guns that fire when you pull the trigger and when you release the trigger. Automag RT's don't do that. Any automag with a x-valve will perform in the same way that any rt valve will. They are the same valve except for the materials (weight)

                              There's a difference between a reactive/runaway trigger and a reactive trigger.

                              Unless it's set up to runaway, you'll get one ball per pull.
