    till it stops.

the instructions say shoot a few hundred times when you first instal it, this breaks in the carrier o-ring. then step down to smaller carriers till the leaking down the barrel stops. you are still using the same o-ring when you switch carriers? right?

also make sure you actually have a down the barrel leak by using a squeegie or stick to move the head of the bolt. if the tone of the leak changes then indeed you need a smaller carrier.

when i installed mine i lubed everything heavily. i dont know if this is what your supposed to do, but it worked for me. i also use the middle spring with good effect.

i just got an x valve and the first carrier i had in it didnt work the gun wouldnt shoot. so i went one carrier down which was the 2nd smallest and i used the medium spring it worked and i was out and playing for a whole day. Last night i came home and put the carrier i had in the first time which was the 3rd smallest and i put in the long spring its consistantly shooting at about 285fps. in the diagram for the level 10 it says u put the back up washer in first this and this looks black on the diagram. this confused me so i jus put the white power tuber tip o ring in in its place then the lvl 10 power tube o ring in the carrier. two shims on top of the and then the power tube tip and this worked. you should use the medium spring until u have time to make it consistantly shoot at 280-300 fps with the long spring.[email protected]

If you just can't seem to get it to stop leaking and the carrier is squeezing the oring tight on the power tube, change orings.
Sometimes the oring just won't seal.

You NEED to have that hard plastic oring in the bottom of the powertube.

There is a plastic backing washer in the L10 kit. It may be white instead of black. It must be used. Go back to basics and redo your setup using the proper backing washer. Don't put any shims in until you get the setup operational. Use the largest carrier that does not leak. Once the setup is working fine, then you can add shims. Shims really aren't needed in most guns anyway.
