ANS Phase II, I dont think it does anything

I just got 3 mags today. One of the minis came with an ANS. I took it apart and the only difference was the reg casing.....



I am not sure why anyone in there right mind would purchase this upgrade. Doesnt look like it does jack squat!

My mag came with a ANS....I had the orignal ...but I decided to leave the ANS on...

I got a lvl X about a month after that...and reliazed I had all thes problem with the valve....so I put the original valve back on...and I was like WOW....ANS SUX!!!

that is the worst frekkin product I have ever used on a paintball gun.

They have been known to cause all kinds of problems. Look up some of my old really long ANS bashing posts, I forget most of the problems they cause now. I remember someone got one that they didn't thread right and ended up stripping the threads on there valve. Just machined out of tolerance causeing velocity fluxuations and shootdown. Just general bad things with no good to even start to outweigh it.

I think its a piece of junk, its just something new for the people that can't find anything else to upgrade on there mag to get.

True, these, aftermarket bolts and on-offs are just marketing scams, they do nothing but screw up your gun and allow you to travel into the past or future.

WOW, thanks guys, i was about to buy an ANS phase 2 charger, and then i saw this and i was like WHEW, saved myself from wasting money and making my gun suck.

I used to have an old diamond labs 8 hole reg case and it did nothing. I also had an old smart mag for a brief period and that did nothing either.

These and similar mods were made to solve a charge problem in the early mags. The air hole between the front and back halves did not line up. Therefore, airflow was restricted in the regulator of the valve. These aftermarket valve backs sprung up to solve that problem. AGD quickly answered the call as well by making sure all the holes lined up. The aftermarket valve backs quickly became obsolete and are now just hype.

ANS valve parts don't do squat for your 'Mag because they are not an improvement. They are just a waste of money. AGD already expirimented with the airflow and the stock parts give you the maximum possible. Only use stock parts and save your money.

Dude, you would be mistaken to say it does nothing. Something has to wieght down those papers on your desk.
I would say sell it on EBay, but no one deserves to spend money on that.

lol, that is about all the diamond labs reg is good for. I still have it just cause it was around 40 bucks when I got it and I just don,t want to throw it out. The ebay thing might be a good idea.

branch, u missed sumthing, not only will it hold down papers but its also the ideal "up"grade for any1 looking to decrease the goodness and workingness of their mag.....i dunno what u ppl are thinking calling them ans UPgrades....they should change their name 2 anus and then take back all their products and stick them where the sun dont shine
