what else causes the lvl 10 to chuff every 1st shot?

other than lubing the carrier o-ring?
i lube it, it still sticks every shot. i've changed springs, carriers, messed with my velocity, tank pressure...no dice. i'm about to send it in to AGD but, would really rather not. could it be a ULT issue?

    thanx

Going to have to give us some more info...

    What size carrier/spring/shims?

    How many shims in ULT?

    What kind of valve?

    What's your input pressure?

if its a retro/x-valve, its just the first shot dropoff causing the level 10 to chuff

I had the same problem with my level 10 and it took me forever to figure out what was wrong with it. All i did take the carrier down a size (or two) and i put the largest spring on. Then i cranked up the pressure on the reg of the mag (about two turns until the gun would cycle with the new spring). Hope this works if not just keep trying combonations of the carriers and the springs. And if all else fails follow the directions there is a whole set of directions floating around here or on airguns.com somewhere. If you ask around i am sure you will find it.

              Just a couple of questions.

How long does the gun have to sit before you get this fsdo, maybe you have a seeping oring that is making your gun shoot a little low.

The other is what is your velocity set at?

Maybe you are at to low of a velocity and the mag shootup is kicking in so it will cycle at later shots.

You're using the .5 carrier. I was thinking try 1, but you said in your first post that you've tried different carriers, so there goes that idea. Have you tried using one of the other powertube orings that came w/ the kit? This is all assuming that LX is causing the problem. I don't have a ULT so I can't help ya there. Oh, have you tried putting the stock on/off pin and assembly back in? That way you could tell if it's LX or the ULT that's causing the problem:)
