    How many shots

Do you get on your 68/4500 in your mag? And how do I tell if the slide check is open or shut when its not gassed up?

as mags tend to be a bit of an air hog, a good aproximation is 10 shots per ci. of air in your tank, as for the slide check I don't use one so I couldn't give you a honest answer.

Isn't 10 shots per ci for the 3000 tanks? That's what people have told me to use for the mag... I think it's 15 shots per ci for the 4500...

        Mags are not gas hogs...
You get atleast 600 shots out of a 68/3000. So you would probably get 900+. It also depends on what barrel you are using, and your velocity. More porting, and excissivly long-short barrels can cause you to loose gas efficiancy.

          slide check

well first of all, if you dotn know which side is open, gas it up with teh trigger pulled back, if you feel the sear pin against teh back of the trigger, thats on. you can either remember what position the slidecheck is in, or if you forget, you can do that first step...OR you can blow in your hose with your finger on the other side, if air goes through its on, if none goes thruogh its off
