I believe so. If you can get a pic of them, look at the top, if it has threads, you need a vert adapter. I'm pretty sure the dye needs one (judging by the pic on paintballgear.com) but I can't tell on the cp one. if you live anywhere near phoenix, check out Arizona Paintball Depot, they're an AGD dealer and I've heard nothing about good things about them.

If the top of it looks like it screws into an ASA you need a vert adapter, if is just has a hole in it for a screw it doesn't need a vert adapter. If your unsure give us a pic or a link to the drop and we will tell you.

If I am thinking about the same gas thrus as you are, they both are going to need vert. adapters

          fore grip

I have a Dye gas through fore grip on my mag and you do have to get a vertical adapter, it's no big deal though. all they do is punch out a piece of metal in front of the ball detent, bolt it on and run the gas lines. I think it was definately worth it, my mag is much more comfortable to shoot now.

Can you run ss hose to the va then a macro line out of the bottom of the gas thru to the tank? does that effect the performace?

running ss is no problem. i wont runn macro, to many leaks. if you do run ss hose though you may wany to consider putting a quick connect in the hose on a 90 degree fitting just before it goes into the reg, so you not have to unscrew your hose fittings or take off your botton line when you clean your mag.

You must be really violent or remove your fittings or hoses all the time or something because ive ran macro for years without any problems whatsoever.

I have never nor will I ever run macroline. My little brother does on his cocker and there is never a time when the fittings dont leak on him, i guess it could also just be because it is a cocker. But in the 7 years I have been playing I have never had my SS leak.
