    X valve problem

Ok, i've had problem as of late, and it's really starting to annoy me.

Ok, I recently picked up and X valve, and i'm having some problems. I'm wondering if anyone could help me out here. I gas up and it starts out ok, but then all of the sudden i get no recharge what so ever. My pressure is set around 800-900, and i've tried lower settings and higher and i still get the same results after a few bursts. It's almost like the sear is getting stuck in my frame, which could be cause clicking the trigger a few times sometimes fixes the problem, but it just seems so weird cause i've never had this problem until i switched to the X valve. Everything is fine with my classic valve. Anyway, any help anyone could provide would be nice.

    Thanks

Try tuning the Level 10 setup. Its a crap shoot. Sometimes they work out of the box, sometimes not.

    Go to a bigger carrier.

Is your on/off sticking? Check that out too, maybe put a few drops of oil around it.

Sounds like your lvl 10 isnt tuned right. It shouldn't be able to chop a ball no matter if your hopper can't keep up.

Did you get an installation guide with your X-Valve? Check that for tuning info.

Use that CD that comes with the level 10 kit. Sounds like a too tight carrier on the first gun...oil it good too.

My x-valve was doing the same thing. It would shoot fine but if i held the trigger then let go, it wouldn't recharge unless i pulled the trigger a few more times. I found it was my on/off valve. Mess with yours and that might help.

Yea the carriers are the whole secret. They just guess at it when they assemble. Many times needs a little time and break in or adjustment.

And confirm you have the "Middle" spring on there before you go adjusting anything.

But also an X Valve outa the box is often turned down a little too low. And often needs some oil first thing. I put it right on the on off pin and work that pin back and forth a few times before I ever stick it in the marker. Then get ready to turn the velocity nut up.
