    Bolt Stick

I know this sounds kinda stupid but what exactly is bolt stick? is it where the spring pushes the bolt too far back?

i cant really explain it, but its when the bolt hesitates to fire, or doesnt fire at all, giving it the term bolt 'stick'

There are two places a bolt "sticks". One "stick" causes the bolt to not move forward. The other allows the bolt to fire a ball, but will not allow the bolt to return to its resting position.

Not firing can be a carrier that is too tight, velocity not high enough and/or bolt spring too stiff.

Not resetting is usually a carrier issue. Usually a larger carrier will solve this one. Sometimes, however, a worn bolt spring can be your culprit.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
