    RT Pro leaks

I just got a nice RT Pro, it's got all the goodies, Intelli, lvl 10 etc. I just tried airing it up for the first time and the bolt comes part way forward and stick and just leak down the barrel or from the bolt.

    What's up guys?

What's your level x setup? What's your input pressure? Have you tried oiling the carrier?

Not sure what the lvl 10 setup is. The previous owner said it was working fine when he sent it though.

      Input pressure is 800 psi.

When I stick a pen down the barrel and push the bolt back it stops leaking.

I tried both a larger and a smaller carrier, same results. and yes everything is oiled up well.

          Ok yet more info.

If I make sure the sear is sticking all the way up when I gas it up it doesn't leak, but then I pull the trigger and the same thing happens. The bolt goes part way forward and leaks.

            PROGRESS!!!

After trying all kinds of things for the past 2 hours I put it all back together how it originally was and it's sort of working. under slow shooting it runs fine but when I try and shoot semi-fast it wont work properly, it's like it's getting really bad shoot down. Like the bolt will only go part way forward when I shoot even a little fast.

I hope you have a big tank because once you get close to 1000psi the valve may not function properly. What spring are you using? The middle one, red, works well for me. The only thing I can think is that if you're using the small one there's not enough force to push the bolt back. You mentioned trying larger and smaller carriers earlier. You did know that there were 1/2 sizes right? Sorry if that question makes you feel bad but often when I assume and look over things like that, that ended up being the problem.:)

ya I'm out of air, gonna have to keep trying tommorrow. HOPEFULLY, the marker just wasn't getting enough and it'll work fine.

Yes, I know about the half sizes :)

Too bad well dry firing the gun the foamie ripped off, now I can't play till I order some replacements

You may be able to glue it back on. Some people even go w/ out.

I'd try and glue it but it flew across my room somewhere haha.

Think it's ok to put paint through it without it? Just for the time being anyways?

                    Thanks for the help chuck.
