    Serious Shootdown

I've got a problem with a Classic Mag. The velocity is fine on the first shot, but I have serious shootdown. If I shoot about 1-2 bps I have no problem but if I shoot any faster than that my velocity drops off horribly. If I pull 6-8 bps the bolt doesn't even travel 1/4 of the way to seal the breech. I have a standard on/off and was using a Pure Energy 68/3k screw in using macro line.

Any ideas what problem I'm having?

    Thanks.

The reg seat is brand new. When I look at it there is only one spot where the piston hits it and it is not bubbled or anything, and it is lubed up with KC Trouble Free.

Any other suggestions? Has anyone else had problems like this before, and the reg seat not be the problem?

Did you try a different tank? I had the same problem and changed the tank and the problem went away.

I intend to test with my other tank but it is loaned out right now. I won't get it back until Saturday. Oddly enough I see a little better performance with CO2 than I do with this Pure Energy HPA tank. But this is with a very large expansion chamber. Right now I'm trying to trouble shoot this gun so when I get my better tank back it will perform good.
