reg break in

I just got an AKA sidewinder, its on my cocker. Do you need to break it in? And if so, how long does that take? And do you need to lube it? If so with what? The manual doesnt say a thing about any of it. Thanks

Everything requires a little bit of use to work in the seals and get them "fitted" to the surface they move on.

A couple cases and everything will be pretty well set in.

For lube, KC Trouble Free is the best paintball specific oil out there. I also use RC Car Shock oil in 10wt, which is just straight Silicone oil. Do not use firearm oil, WD -40, engine oil or anything similar.

i was also wondering if there was a specific grease that the reg needs, aside from the oil in general. Gold cup oil is generally acceptable too?
