    C02 & Automags?

I know this might sound like a noobie question but, I really know nothing about mags and kind of want one so would a stock Classic mag run on C02? And if it does would it be bad for the internals, etc.? Thanks alot.

    Rather has the right idea.

Rather has the right idea. CO2 in a classic style valve works great. You do NOT need a regulator pre-valve though to make it work properly. Here is the setup I recomend.

CO2 - Vertical in your pack
Remote - Try to get one with an expansion chamber on it, like the smartparts smart remote.
Expansion Chamber - 4 stage min.
    Valve

When I had this setup my mag was almost as consistant as on air, I suffered no shoot down and even in the winter, I could play. (0c to 5c).

    Hope this helps

Wow that has to be a good setup, becuase my cousin couldn't play at all in the winter with his mag with CO2. He only had an expansion chamber though.

When mags were first made HPA in paintball was unheard of, it will work. Expansion chambers, vertical tanks, remotes, long air lines, antispyphons, and palmer stabalizer regs are recommended. The more of the above you have the better off you are, you don't need any of it but the chances of your valve freezing are much greater if you don't. And don't run an anti-shypon and an remote or anti-syphon and a vert.
