    shim adjustment help

Ok, well it says I'll only probaly need 2, it leaks if I use two, and with one it leaks, but not very often and only if there is no pressure on the trigger, now my question is do i need shims at all? since the less hims the less leak, do i really need to add them? any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Shims are not necessary unless you need to use them.

I don't use shims in any of the LX setups in my guns.

hmm, I just fiddled with it, put on a better carrier, and now another question. I have tried 4 shims and no shims...absolutly no difference in performance that I can tell, is this normal? and if not what should I do?

Shims only change the distance before the valve will vent in the event of a misfire/chop. Normal operation will not be affected by shims. For the most part, even the addition of shims for earlier venting is not needed because most of the time the bolt goes forward far enough during a pinch anyway.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
