    Lighter magnets?

Ok, got a wierd question... Does anyone know where I might be able to get a weaker magnet to use in my Emag's trigger? I tend to like a fairly long pull with the firing point at the end, and the stock HES magnet doesn't allow me to adjust out as much as I'd like (true with both the stock and logic triggers).

Or if there's some other trick I'm not thinking of that'll accomplish the same thing...

He's reffering to the magnet that is in the middle of the trigger guys, not the ones in the rail I'm thinking that it's gonna be hard to replace, isn't it a threaded magnet? An older blade option, the TL63, uses a set screw on the top to adjust how close or far the whole triggers forward stop is from the HES. Unscrewing it all of the way may allow you to get a longer pull.

Yup, Chuck's following me. I'm talking about the adjustable magnet in the middle of the trigger that activates the HES.

On the trigger return magnet, I actually have it sitting in the rail the way it was built. A teammate put the o-ring in it once and I hated it. Seems my fingers need a fairly long, meaty pull to go crazy, even with an electro. I guess it comes from the fact that I kinda 'slap' the trigger rather than just having my fingers twitch.

Have you tried using more magnets in the return? I use 4! That may make it stiffer for ya since it may be hard getting it longer.

            Damn. 4?

I'm pretty happy with the weight right now, and if I set it to manual without gassing up, that's pretty much how I'd like it to feel in electro. I might try throwing in another mag next time I open it up.

Ok, just thought I'd post it here for reference if anybody else was wondering how to lengthen their trigger pull...

Coolhand pointed out to me that the magnets used on the Emag are based on metal, not ceramic like we usually think of them being. Since it's metal, it can be filed or ground .

You'll want to go slowly so you don't overdo it, but if you take a dremel to the magnet and grind a little away at a time, you can get it to have a fairly long electro pull. My Logic trigger now breaks at about 1/4" from the resting position at the bottom tip. For my rapid fire style, this is just about perfect.
