Coating for Internals???

Was reading the thread about playing in the rain and was curious about coating the circuit board and electronics on an e-mag with a water proofing agent/coating? I have heard other electronic guns (maybe the impulse?) do this at the factory. Anyone know what to use or if it is feasable to do?

We use conformal coating on circuit boards at Honeywell. It's a brush on liquid which dries to a soft plastic. Don't know where you'd get it though.

WHY?

I have read bewteen the angel and the viking that when completly submerged in water the boards last about 20mins before shorting out. I am sure any steady state board wraped behind a nice set of grips will last awhile.
