safety slides back and forth freely on Emag now-Why ??

I went out to play today and my Emag would shoot sporadically and then stop totally. I looked down and noticed the safety was freely sliding on and off. I ended up taking a piece of tape to hold it off. When I got home and took it apart, I didn't see what makes the safety work, unless there's supposed to be a spring or something in there. If there's supposed to be a spring in there, there isn't one now, and the safety slides back and forth freely. Can anybody help me fix this, otherwise I'll just take the safety out.

There is a spring with a small ball-bearing that locks the safety in the on or off poosition. It's located on the bottom side of the switch. The only real way to get to it is to push the safety switch out all the way. Sounds like this is what your probelm is.
When the going gets tough, the tough use full auto.

yeh, on the side without the red ring, there is a hole below the bottom of the saftey. there a ball bearing and spring is stored making the saftey stay in its place. if thats gone, just replace
