x-valve question

I have a Classic Mag with a hyperframe. I am considering getting an x-valve.

How much lighter will this make my mag?

I am also worried about making it work with the hyperframe. When I first got the mag, which I bought used, I tried to have a level 10 installed on it. The airsmith at my local feild tried to install it but was not able to. He told me the level 10 would not work with the hyperframe. Is this true. If so, can I remove the level 10 and just use a regular bolt with the x-valve.

No. Your tech guy is wrong. The Hyperframe will work fabulously with the Xvalve & Level 10 combo. If he follows the instructions posted by AGD on the main page, he'll have no problems. (BTW- there's a CD included in the Level 10 kits that show you in a video how, step by step, to set it up.)
