    leaking down the barrel

    current setup
    x-valve
    no ule trigger

I recently installed my ule trigger and did not like the feel, so I want to go back to my original setup.

I removed the ult on\off and put the o-rings and my old on\off back in. I now leak down the barrel when I gas up the marker. The lvl X setup in my x-valve is the same as I had before the ule trigger went in and it used to work fine.

I tried changing my carrier but so far they have all leaked down the barrel. So my question is, did I perhaps re-install my old on\off improperly? Or do I just need to continue playing with my carriers and shims to try and 're-tune' my lvl 10 bolt?

    Any help is appreciated.

Dropping down a carrier size should do it if LX is the problem. Here's a pic of the valve so you can check your on/off. One time I forgot to put the bolt and spring back on, that'll make for a bad leak too

So far still no good. Dropping down a carrier hasn't fixed the leak. Currently I have the 1.5 carrier w\no shims in.

I used that picture when I put my on\off back in and after checking it again, I did install it right. At least its correct judging by the picture.

After looking at that pic it may be a tad different. That's an older Retro w/ only 1 o-ring in the on/off bottom. Newer ones and X Valves have 2 and can be easily upgraded to the ULT.

Fixed the problem after taking apart the x-valve again and re-oiling the orings a bit better this time around.

Thanks for the help, marker worked perfectly all day yesterday on the field.
