AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I was thinking that might be the only solution if nobody has anything ready to sell.
These will fit a classic rail right? I noticed they say rt/emag on the description but to my knowledge the rail is pretty much the same.
Also, are these any heavier than a standard powerfeed for a classic? I would go for the ULE but I really dont want to invest in a new barrel - and I thought the seam that screw-ins create was supposed to be a disadvantage.
They should be a tiny bit lighter than a standard PF body because there's a little less metal. They will fit your rail, and I don't think the seam would hurt accuracy because the balls isn't actually fired until it's in the barrel. Also every other gun out there would be bad to because they have screw-in barrels.
well you definitally can't anno it since its stainless. so powder coat would be the only option really.
unless you like colored tape? :P
maybe crayons or paintbrushes?
Just got this no rise body. Unfortunately I didnt realize my current barrel wouldnt work with it - the grooves cut into are for powerfeed style bodies so the hole doesnt lock into the right place.
I was thinking if I could find a drill that could drill stainless I might be able to put a slight depression into the track and maybe get it to work that way though. Any better solutions available by chance?
tell you the truth, when i ran my emag with a no-rise(have karta body now), all i had was a powerfeed barrel.
i simply slide the barrel in the body and i didn't twist it, and it stayed put perfectly for me.
I do that to but use front frame screws that are long enough to hold the barrel in place but not long enough to push it to hard and interfere w/ the bolt.
Does dye make barrels for automag anymore? I checked their site and didnt see any.
I was looking today to see who made barrels that worked with a centerfeed automag and couldnt find any. I really like my all stainless boomstick and would like to stick with it. Will eventually send it out to have it drilled but in the mean time I am wondering where I can find barrels ready to go..
