    A Few Questions

Im Currently using a classic mag with a 68/3000 flatline tank, benchmark trigger frame and sp progressive barrel. I just ordered an X-Valve and plan on getting a ULE body and new barrel to go with it along with a new tank

Questions, is the ULE body worth the upgrade? I am very pleased with my flatline and will probably buy a 68/4500 flatline. How does this compare to other tanks out there? Its been a while since i seriously played so im out of the loop. Also im currently using macroline hosing, is this ok, or should i switch to steel hose or mircoline? ALso how useful are quick disconnects?

    Thanks

Welcome to AO! Is the ULE worth the upgrade? That'd be up to you. Extra $ for a barrel, vertical feed, lighter weight, and sweet looks are some of the options to consider. I use a Flatline and Centerflag adjustables. I think they both perform about the same, personal preference again. Macroline is fine, I prefer SS myself, more durable. Quick Disconnects are great too. Even if you use Macro they would help extend the life of your line by using them for removal instead just pulling the macro from the fitting. Good luck and Happy Magging!

Frankly i cant see spending the money on the ULE body i just dont see any advantage in it, i think it is mostly cosmetic. As far as the HPA system i use a nitroduck 68/3k and i love it, i never have problems. whatever you do make sure that if it is a preset tank you buy one with a high output pressure. I believe that mag needs 600 psi, a tank with a low pressure will starve your mag for air. Definately use the Stainless Steel line. I have been playing for seven years now and i have never had a problem with my Stainless Steel hose, my little brother on the otherhand uses macroline and has non stop leaks. I had to bail him out last weekend and install extra ss hose and fittings that i had just so he could continue to play, he still refuses to convert because the SS is "ugly"
I love my mag more than my girlfriend

The Ule body is really nice. I bought one and I am very happy with it. It looks better, and it's lighter. Plus it is centerfeed, which helps to balance out your marker by placing the hopper directly over your gun. I think that it makes automags shoot better, makes the balls fly straighter more consistently but that is just my opinion.

Also The ball detents in the automag barrels are wire or plastic nubbins, and they tend to break at bad times. The new ULE bodies have angel stlye ball detents that are much nicer.

The ULE body is threaded for the very popular autococker barrels threads, a lot of companies don't make automag twistlock style barrels anymore, which is unfortunate because some really nice barrels have come out recently not threaded for automag twistlock. Some people even claim that the new ULE body is more accurrate because of the new threaded barrel -because the ball dosen't drop directly into the barrel, and the barrel doesn't move around like the twist lock style can.

I think that warpig did an article on this...
