Reactivity should not be your concern. It's tourny illegal and most fields don't allow it either so whats the ponit?Live in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, South Dekota, or the surronding area?

Hmmmm, well has the thought EVER crossed your mind that he might not being using this as a tourny gun? What an ignorant statement.Originally posted by JoyInTheMadness

Read the thread more carefully, it says nothing about the zgrip being illegal just making the trigger shoot full auto...Taking a long needed leave of the sport to finish school and tour the country

the type of grip frame on your gun has no effect on how reactive your valve is. however, the angle of the sear in relation to the trigger on the zgrip might effect the trigger bounce. theoretically it shouldn't but I have never used a zmag before so I wouldn't know. the reason why triger bounce of any magnitude, whether it be a two shot bounce or a full auto string, is illegal is because of safety reasons. almost all fields (speedball, tourneys, or woodsball) don't allow it because more than one shot per trigger pull isn't fair, and potentially a safety hazard because you can't predict the reactivity of each pull. a lot of fields have this in their safety contractComment

First off, watch your language lil' boy. Avoiding the cuss filter is a "no-no". And you refer to the A-5 as if its some crazy fast bouncy Timmy or something... You should be able to outshoot an A-5 any day with a mag.Originally posted by frost

Secondly, your not actually making your gun go truly full auto. There is a "sweetspot" with RT valves that allow you to more or less bounce the trigger simulating full-auto.

I made a post about this long ago to clear all the "myths" about what you can and cannot do. As was mentioned above, the grip does not determine the reactivity of the valve, it simple makes it easier or harder to control. Read and watch the videos if you have questions:

Z-man to the rescue! Whew. There for a while I thought this thread was turning into another debate about reactiveness.
Folks, if we're posting on the nuances of it (e.g., how a specific grip effects it), you can probably assume that we know what it is and what it does. Keep your "tourney" wisdom to the tournies. Thanks!Comment
