    SOS! Need ULE Feedneck Help!

I'm having this little problem of removing the feedneck off of the ULE Body on my emag.

I did a search and tried everything that people suggested, from using a hairdryer, heatgun, lighter, and even a blowtorch to loosen the loc-tite! A pair of pliers wrapped in rags didn't work either in loosening the feed. Or a combination of heating and twisting with the pliers. And now, there's small silver specks on my (black) feedneck and body from who knows where! ARGH! (Not scratches, but tiny speckles )

Pretty much given up on the thing, Any Ideas?

P.s. (Small Gripe) AGD, If it's advertised as having a removable feedneck, please don't loctite the thing on there so much that it isn't anymore!
Heck, even no loctite would be fine, I mean how often do you see people losing their feednecks off their angels from it unscrewing off?

I purchased a rubber strap wrench from Home Depot and it worked like a dream. There were 2 sizes in Home Depot... a small and a large... I got the smaller one. Take your time doing it and you might need a friend to hold the ULE while you grasp the strap wrench. Once you get it off, clean the threads and body with a little soap and water and let it dry. When you place the new neck on, use Blue Loctite instead of the red stuff. AGD uses the Red stuff and that's why there's an issue... the blue stuff isn't as hard to break the seal and should have been used from the factory. Good luck...

i purchased the same strap wrench as LuisV
$10 for a small one and a big one
used the big one to take off the feedneck and install the new one
carry the smaller one in your toolbox when your at the field
makes tightening and looseing a clamping feedneck so much easier

Yea, I was looking into that, as that seemed like the only way to get it off, but thats a pain to remove something that shouldn't need me to buy a spcial tool just to get it off.

I finally got it off, just took the blowtorch to it some more, the loctite finally gave, but unfortunatly, it left some silver specks all over the body..eh gives me a reason to get it reanno'd to something crazy

Yea, I've learned my lesson: Don't try and skimp. But now there's reason to get another ULE body, a warp left one... mwahaha...perhaps these screwup's aren't done by accident
