HELP - gun won't shoot after fixing valve leak

I opened up my valve while it was pressurized at like 150 psi. Parts shot out everywhere, and I've tried to put them back. I found a yellow oring that fits perfectly in the valve's orifice (for lack of a better word...) and a black one (I have an e-mag), along with the little rod which goes into the brass peice.

What I did was I put the yellow oring around the black one, put the rod in the brass piece, put it back in my valve, gassed it up again, and tried to shoot.

    IT WONT SHOOT!

When I pull the trigger in manual or electronic nothing happens, at all. This is fairly disheartening.

What on earth is the deal? I want to go out and play on Saturday but I can't seem to get this thing to work. Thanks in advance.

Did you have an Emag valve or a X-Valve? Newer ones have 2 o-rings in the on/off area, there's no cutaway on those yet

          An e-mag valve.

Chuck: Emag valves have always had 2 orings in the on/off.

It sounds like you put it together right, but what I'm thinking is that little rod you put back in the brass piece was probally damaged/bent. That would cause the gun to not fire.. Take it out again and see if the rod slides pretty easily in the brass part.. if its really hard to move, you probably need to order another one. Its called an on/off pin.

Just curious, but why did you take your valve apart when it was still pressurized?

                  I'm sorry. My mistake.
Well, what I really meant was it is not just the xvalves that have the double oring design. Some emags also have 2 orings.. and judging from this guys description he does too..
