    Trouble Breaking Paint

I was wondering if i could get some help here. I have an automag 68 classic with stock bolt and valve and a compressed 68ci 3000psi tank. It seems that no matter what paint i am shooting i always seem to get alot of ball breaks in my barrel. Its not chopping. I was wondering if i need to spend all the money on buying a level 10 or if just paying 30 dollars for a venturi bolt with a foamie will be enough. I dont need to shoot super fast so im not worried about chopping, just the breaks in the barrel.

    Thanks.

First check your barrel nubbin, if it's damaged it will break the shell of the ball and it will bust in the barrel, no matter what paint you use.
If you have a metal wire nubbin replace it with a plastic one, they last longer and are better on the paint.

If your nubbin is OK, then check for burrs in your barrel or in your bolt. Also a try a larger bore barrel, yours might be too tight for the paint you are getting.

    Hope this helps!
