Fitting stuck in my valve... (please respond ASAP)

I think that somone may have red-loctited it in before I bought the gun. Will it kill my valve if I hold a lighter under it for a few seconds to loosen up whatever's holding it in (keeping in mind that this is the fitting that goes into the AIR valve)? It doesn't seem to me like it would hurt, but I just want to make sure... Thanks.

At worst you will ruin the O-Rings. I read a post where somone had their valve survive a house fire, and with new O-Rings it was just fine.

Ok, lighter worked for everyone's info incase this thread gets searched up. O-rings aren't even damaged. But now I got a new problem (starting new thread). Thanks.
