Those aren't converted automags... Those are sydarms...

Sidearms also sucks as paintball guns. To make a handgun? I'd start with a standard feed body, chop the feedtube off, somehow (not sure best method) reapply it going sideways on the body, drill a whole in it that matches the whole into the gun. And than fit it with some cigar tubes. I know I suck at explaining things, but its a nobrainer on what you have to do.

k i wasn't sure on the tube but that seems like the the better way since it will still have the powerfeed plug to turn the balls into it.. and i can get some pvc or something to make the tube and have a spring in there to push the balls down.. into the chamber....

then im going to buy a cheap taso eliminator 8.5" barrel and chop about 4" off and cut some of the body where it wont effect anything and also body rail to make that seeem alot shorter

Dax instead of cigar tubes or pvc try phantomonline.com and get a feed tube or extension for feed system. Also you could cut down standard feed to 1-1.5", buy a 90 degree fitting and add feed tube to that for a stock class effect, buy an original minimag barrel(6") i think, or e-mail proteam products, ask if they can find an armson pro series 6" barrel, they used to make them, maybe they can still make a custom one for ya. good luck, btw, post pics of finished product here, i'd like to see it :) !!!

pics will come. thanx for the link warlord. i was also thinkin of taking a classic body and cutting it down and have a 90 on there that i can make myself.. now i basicly have all the stuff that is coming off of the gun all i need now are the parts. i just got a cf body and a grip frame now i need the body rail.... and valve and trigger but the last two arn't to important considering i first want to do the bodywork
im looking to use a barrel that sticks out 1-2 inches from the breach making it a SHORT gun : ) im also carving the breech to make it alot lighter. im also going to cut down the body rail. maybe add a delrin bolt.

im aiming to make it as light as possible and acurate notice quiete isn't in there.

you should just cut the barrel off almost right where it meets the body just leave alittle bit to grab onto when you need to remove it. sure your accuracy is going to suck but if your using a sidearm you must be desperate anyway

Another thing you'll need to look into is the air source. I've got the parts sitting around to do the same project. I was going to run a 12gram quick change right under the barrle. To do it I was going to take a vert asa and mill it to run parrallel to the barrel, then use a screw in quick change.

tef the barrel is only going to be 1" out of the breach and that is about 4" of barrel enough to make it acurate im also going to try adding a silencer depending if it works im going to port the first 2 inches of the barrel and carve the breach so the air can escape and add some thin felt or something there where i cutaway the breach resulting in a more of a muffled sound (hopefully) if it don't work great hey its just an experiment and will look cool.

                              about the airsource.

im still unsure how exactly im going to make the airsource. making it under the barrel would normally work but considering the barrel is 1" out of the breach it won't work. so im looking for alternates. 1 place i spoted that im going to work on placing it is inside the trigger frame

                              wich is very posible .
