New Retro Valve

Have Retro Valve installed on a older Minimag. It shoots a ball at trigger pull and at release. The spacer installed is .225 long. The trigger rod was longer than the recommended in the FAQ. I adjusted the rod to 1.980 length per the FAQ for the carbon fiber frame. I have my own calipers. The new sear was installed in frame and was swinging freely. The gun still shoots at trigger pull and again on release most of the time. I've noticed that the trigger rod does not always come all the way out. When it does there is no takeup in the trigger pull and it will double fire. when rapid firing it will chop balls. Please help with some ideas. Thanks

Is the bolt worn where it contacts the sear?

I have a super bolt. Brand new.

Check and see if you have a rail bushing in there.

The both rail bushings are in along with the barrel guide pin.

Worn bolt of sear. Check the bolt edge that the sear catches, and the edge of the sear the bolt catches.

The edge of the bolt that catches the sear looks good. It is a new Super Bolt. The sear is also new, it came with the Retro. The sear edge also looks good.

Could the trigger rod be hitting the back of the trigger if you pull it all the way foward? On-off o-ring?

Yes!! I believe you found the problem..The trigger rod does hold the trigger rod all the way forward. There is no take up or slack in the trigger.
But which O-ring the one inside the reg where the large end of the pin fits into or the one inside the on-off valve?

I just realized it was a retro. So i'm not really sure how the on-off works, that may not be the problem. Could definatly be that rod though.

This should go unspoken, but you are using CA as opposed to CO2, right? ReTro's only run on N2.

Back off the trigger rod so there's a thin gap inbetween it and the trigger rod. Try this and see if that helps. You need to be using Compressed Air. Also, what's the input from the tank?

I'm using fixed output PMI nitro tank. Output pressure is 850.
