X-valve

Airguns Designs makes the new X-valve out of aluminum, so does this mean that it will not last as long as the original steel valves?

According to AGD they use some new superduperextra hard aluminium. I dont know if they will last as long as a stainless steel, but considering that my steel valve is closing to approx 10 years without a nick, although some rough handling, even half of the time is still great. Personally, I dont think there will be any great difference, but thats just my opinion.

The aluminum they are using is very close to the stainless they used in mechanical properties. The aluminum valve will last a long time.

The aluminum x valve makes a prety noticable weight difference on your gun also.
