rt pro shototing in automatic mode

I took apart my rt pro to clean it and after putting it back together the marker now shooting in only a full auto mode. It will not shoot in the semi mode which is the only mode it is suppose to shoot. I have gone through it a few times trying to figure out what is wrong with no success.
What should I do?

Well, the first thing to realize is that the RT really doesn't have "modes." The RT will fire in a full-auto style when your regulator goes 'reactive.' This means that you have too much pressure going into the regulator, causing it to skip the sear when it fires.

First thing to check: The amount of input pressure you have. Make sure you only have about 700-800 psi running into your valve.

Second thing to check: Make sure your trigger frame is tightened down correctly. If it's loose, a trigger pull might trip the sear, but not reset it correctly.

My RT Pro does the same thing when I sweet spot the trigger (which is super easy to do). There's no way to get rid of your valves crazy reactivity, even if you do have only 700-800 psi input. I have a 3000 crossfire preset and I can easily sweetspot my mag.

First make sure your frame is in right and sear. With no sear in make sit go FA. The make sure your input pressure isnt nothing high like over 900 for most guns.(depends)

Also, make sure all the o-rings are in your on/off assembly, there's a "trick" where if you take out one of the o-rings, your gun will go full auto, and nothing else.

You said you took the valve out to clean it.

My guess is that you chopped your on/off pin. Did you pull the trigger before sliding the degassed valve out or did you just pull hard?

It's the darker, outer oring at the base of the on/off assy (if you're holding the valve with on/off facing you).

Don't think LX works if you take it out though, and a TRUE runaway mode CAN happen (happened to me), where you pull the trigger, and even if you let go the marker keeps firing, not fun. Works on any valve. Wouldn't reccomend using paint, the valve fires too fast, and I don't think it resets all the way. There's a thread on this somewhere else in the forum.
