HELP!!!! X-valve not shooting!!

O.K.......I just got my new x valve, I am so excited!, so i run to my local paintball store to get my tank filled, i rush back home, throw the tank on my baby, listen and hear that familiar click, pull the trigger!!...AND!!!... nothing. I felt pressure behind the trigger when i pulled it, but it didnt shoot, and after i completly compressed the trigger the pressure was gone. I just got the X, havent messed with anything yet so i am lost.

I dont know... Any suggestions and or tips would be greatly appreciated, hopefully this is a common problem with an easy fix.


P.S. I just got a Y-grip also and there was what appeared to be a spot missed by the annodizer, no big deal but just dissapointed...............

Turn up the velocity until it shoots. If it vents out the back, turn it down and go up a carrier size or down a spring size.

Try what Dayspring said and try putting a little oil through the valve.

also put some oil on the on/off rod pin thing. turning the velocity up should fix it. i did the same thing but the read the forum and found out i had to turn the velocity up.

Thanks for the help!! Turns out it was the velocity, I was just too tired to think at that point. Also i just got a psycoballistics drop and it seems if i turn it on all the way then it starves the gun for air.
