Ok, the fuse blew in my charger. I went to Ratshack and picked up a pack of 5amp fast acting 250 volt 1 1/4x1/4 fuses (#270-1011). When I put it in, and plug the cig charger in the car, the red light on the charger plug comes on and stays on, but as soon as I connect it to the special charger unit/battery pack, the fuse blows and all lights go out.
Is this the correct fuse type? Be specific with your answers please, as I am electrically challenged.
If they are ok, what could cause the fuse to blow when the batt/charger is connected?
